EAP handbook supplement updated for 2026

In addition to a revised Magellan National Provider Handbook, you’ll find the updated handbook supplement for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers — in effect for 2026 — on our provider website as well. 

Be sure to also check out the following appendices that had changes:

Contracted providers serving EAP members must follow the policies and procedures outlined in this supplement, as well as those in the Magellan National Provider Handbook.

Best practice? We strongly suggest reviewing these policies annually, at a minimum, to ensure you’re compliant.
